I really want to see Alphonso's tattoos.  They sound cool.  Does your music sound cool?  Cuz I rilly like cool music, you know?

reply from admin

Sorry Juanita, Alphonso won't show anybody his tattoos, no matter what. You'd have to sedate him... that means "put him to sleep". As for the music itself, go to AUDIO/VIDEO and check-out the audio clips. There's a few dozen there to listen to. Then you can see for yourself if it's cool music. Cheers!

Well done, well done. Say "hi" to Rogie for me.

reply from admin

Funny you should mention Rogi... I did a net search and found a comment someone had left on a blog, saying that they ran into Rogi a few years ago at a Chapters in Ottawa. Apparently, he moved back here from Montreal after 8 years. I found one phone number in Orleans yesterday. I called and left a message, but I haven't heard back yet. I'll keep you posted!

Hey Greg, great to hear that you've been enjoying the site and the old music. It certainly brought back many memories for me when I found the tape. I must have listened to it a hundred times! Just so you know, I am still on the prowl for ex-Q members, and that sound guy we had, Dan somebody. As I recall, we made an actual demo at his home studio, and someone, somewhere must have it! If you have any other information, please pass it on! Thanks!

Hayley my dear... The past year of voice lessons has brought to light your beautiful voice (excellent pitch) and confidence level.  I listened to your talentmania performance first, and than your 2 songs from last week.  I was very impressed with your singing and the level of confidence you displayed on the stage.  I think that you were the only one who did not forget any of the words at some point in their songs. I can hardly wait the 6 years to see you win Canadian Idol.  Meanwhile, you have the natural talent (probably from your father) and you should continue voice lessons, and if possible, learn to play the guitar. You have the basic talent to be a star if that is the direction you wish to pursue.  Like your father, your talents are in many areas such as writing, song and comedy, and probably many others that you have not even tried such as acting. You are growing up to be a very talented lady.  Keep on learning and trying new things. Your uncle, “King” Peter

I happen to have in my possesion, a cassette with almost every song performed in their original version by Silent Q. Is there any chance you would be interested in having a copy of this cassette? Since we are old friends, I would be willing to let you have it for nothing.
